A. To rent equipment, we require a valid drivers license and a credit card to take a pre-authorization.
A. A pre-authorization is a hold on your credit card for a set amount. It is NOT a charge. It acts as a safety deposit. Once you return the equipment, the pre-authorization can be changed to the final charge and placed as completion. Otherwise, it can be cancelled and you can pay as you like.
A. The pre-authorization will vary for each piece of equipment as well as the amount of equipment being rented.
A. For most of our equipment, we have four standard rates: 4 hours, daily, weekly and 4 weeks. You are not bound to a pre-set amount of time, keep it as long as you need. Once the equipment is returned, it will be billed according to how long it has been out.
A. No. The rental period begins at the same time that you rent it. So if you rent a piece of equipment at noon, your daily rate will take you to noon the following day. This applies for all of our standard rates.
A. No. However, we do offer a 15% discount for Renovation Find members.
A. Licenses are not required to rent out these pieces of equipment. We can provide instructions on how to operate the equipment safely and efficiently.
